Intern Feedback
“An internship with Painteddog.tv is unlike any other. Real experiences filming and photographing wild animals are hard to come by, and a chance to learn from and alongside the team in Hoedspruit is one no one should turn down. PDTV provides a space to both learn on the job and yet earn creative control over your final product, all while capturing and appreciating the wildlife and landscape of South Africa’s Lowveld. Whether out in the bush with the safari guides or editing an exciting team adventure, there’s never a dull moment.
Living in the bush isn’t always all that – from bugs and early mornings to scorching afternoons, the bush has a way of testing its visitors. However, those willing to persevere are often rewarded with life-changing experiences and memories to last a lifetime.
There’s no better way to sharpen your skills as a camera operator while simultaneously clearing your head of society’s junk. The remote environment comes with challenges requiring mental fortitude, but it can teach you many things about yourself as much as your craft.”
